Either way, you'll definitely get something worth the same amount as your original ticket. 

You can book hotels and cars for your trips through the official Delta Airlines website; however, you may want to cancel or change these reservations. If this happens, Delta Airlines can't do anything because it's the airline that only provides you with the means to make the reservation faster.
