Some documents that are always required are: passport, visa, tourist card, international vaccination card, and of course, any other documents required by the country. Please note that even though the pandemic is over, some countries still have COVID-19 requirements. 

Yes, if your pet, whether dog or cat, weighs less than 20 pounds, you can transport it in the main cabin, but it will replace your carry-on baggage. You will have to pay a fee to bring your pet on international flights and a smaller fee on domestic flights. On international flights, pets can be transported Monday through Saturday, except for some destinations that only allow Monday through Friday. Pets are not allowed in business class.
